Physical, Spiritual, and Psychological Reflections ratings on a scale of 1-10...

I would give my physical rating a 7. I have in the last 6 months been taking the time out to actually schedule time for regular exercise. This has made a big difference in my life. When I first started I could barely walk a mile without being tired out. I also started a resistance program at the gym. My goal in this area is to continue added new forms of exercise. I have recently added yoga. The main thing I have learned is it is all about consistency and challenging yourself.

I would give my spiritual rating a 5. Since I have started this class I have started some meditation it has been trial an error. I hate to say I never really took the time out to work on my spirituality like I need to... My goal in this area is to keep an open mind and learn all I can as far as mind exercises as in meditation. An activity I have started in this area is listening to positive affirmations instead of the radio. I also have been listening to some pod casts on different types of positive thinking methods.

I would rate my psychological a 6. This is also a work in progress or me. Working on my spiritual well-being is helping me realize I needed to take a step back and look at some things in my life. My goal in this area is to keep and open mind and learn to relax. I am pursing yoga and meditation along with a conscious effort to stay consistent in my exercise program as I think being physically active helps me in all areas.

I enjoyed the relaxation exercise. I found that if I have a dark room and use the head phones with no
distractions I get a lot more out of any form of meditation. I found this one relaxing and I could really see the colors. Visualization really helps my concentration.

Introduction

HELLO EVERYONE..!
    SO HAPPY TO BE HERE!!

It feels great to get my blog up and running... What a learning experience.:)..!

My name is Kim Sheridan I have been working in the Nutrition field for about 10 years. I am now working toward a bachelor's in health and wellness. Even though nutrition is along the same track. I am looking to "broaden my horizons". :) I realize especially after starting this class I am definitely in the right place. I was thinking I need something more.. I know now learning and utilizing the concept of integrated wellness is what will not only help me be the best I can be. But it will help me help others much more effectively..
The exercise that was presented on the learning space page was very relaxing. I thought that I would be wanting to keep laying there and sleep when it was finished. But strangely enough I had so much energy the rest if the day. That's amazing to me that a little time out like that is so rejuvenating..!
I am so looking forward to learning, growing, and getting to know everyone.

Kim
